WaveTrace™ Coulometric AGR reagent is intended for all general purpose moisture measurements that don’t require specialized treatment. It ensures proper operation of both amperometric and potentiometric detection systems in the range of polarization currents from 2 uA to 100 uA. Coulometric AGR is a universal solution that assures equal performance in both types of titration cells: with and without a diaphragm.

WaveTrace™ Coulometric CGR. Catholyte/generator solution
WaveTrace™ Coulometric CGR catholyte reagent can be used in a wide range of generator currents and in cells with glass, ceramic and polymer membranes. Our catholyte reagent also has increased viscosity compared to most existing reagents, which leads to a much lower interference with the anolyte content across the membrane. This feature translates into higher accuracy with a much lower relative error of measurement. WaveTrace™ Coulomtric CGR allows for continuous titration without overheating for over an hour at generator currents of 800 mA or higher.

WaveTrace™ Coulometric AGR-Oven. Anolyte/vessel solution for titration with oven
WaveTrace™ Coulometric AGR-Oven is formulated specifically for Karl Fischer titration using oven. This method is typically used for samples that have poor solubility in methanol or other common solvents (chloroform, xylene, etc.) or contain compounds that react with components of the reagent. Coulometric AGR-Oven contains propylene glycol that improves its resistance to evaporation and allows the reagent to produce accurate results without overheating.

WaveTrace™ Coulometric AHR. Anolyte/vessel solution for cells with or without diaphragm
WaveTrace™ Coulometric AHR reagent was developed for moisture measurement in samples that contain long chain hydrocarbons, saturated secondary amines or alcohols with high molecular weight. It has the optimal formulation that increases solubility of the samples and reduces precipitation or formation of emulsions and deposits on electrodes and other parts of the titration cell. Side reactions are minimized and current efficiency is near 100%.

WaveTrace™ Coulometric AXR. Universal solution
WaveTrace™ Coulometric AXR reagent is intended for analysis of samples that are very poorly soluble in methanol and other common solvents and use of an oven is impractical or cost-prohibitive. This formulation contains pyridine, but provides the benefit of superior extraction of moisture from the sample and inhibition of formation of emulsions or separate layers. Coulometric AXR is best used in cells with a diaphragm and should function as both anolyte (vessel solution) and catholyte (generator solution).

WaveTrace™ Coulometric AGR-C reagent is intended for coulometric KF titration of samples that are poorly soluble in methanol and require addition of chloroform. The formulation achieves a balance between solubility and correct stoichiometry of the reaction, thus allowing to analyze samples of fuels and a variety of organic chemicals.
Coulometric AGR-C is best used in cells with a diaphragm in combination with Coulometric CGR.

WaveTrace™ Coulometric AGR-Oil. Anolyte/vessel solution for cells with or without diaphragm
WaveTrace™ Coulometric AGR-Oil is intended for analysis of samples that are poorly soluble in methanol and addition of chloroform alone is insufficient to properly dissolve the sample. This reagent is formulated with chloroform in a mixture with xylene and is typically used for analysis of crude oil, heavy hydrocarbons, diesel fuel and other similar analytes. While Coulometric AGR-Oil can be used in a fritless cell (without a diaphragm), we recommend its application in combination with Coulometric CGR for best results.
