WaveTrace™ Composit T5
WaveTrace™ Composit T5 reagent is the most commonly used volumetric reagent that provides reliable results for a wide range of moisture concentrations. Composit T5 is exceptionally stable and loses less than 3% of its titer per year under proper storage conditions.
Composit T5 can be used with dry methanol, Methanol Sharp or any of the specialized solvents for samples that have poor solubility in methanol.

WaveTrace™ Composit T2
WaveTrace™ Composit T2 is intended for one-component volumetric titration and has a titer between 1.8 and 2.3 mg/ml. The lower titer of Composit T2 is useful for analysis of samples with a lower moisture content.

WaveTrace™ Composit T1
WaveTrace™ Composit T1 is intended for one-component volumetric titration and has a titer between 0.9 and 1.2 mg/ml. The lower titer of Composit T1 is useful for analysis of samples with a low moisture content.

WaveTrace™ Composit K5
WaveTrace™ Composit K5 is a special formulation for one-component titration of aldehydes and ketones. It’s optimized to reduce rates of side reactions and allows for accurate analysis of otherwise reactive carbonyl-containing compounds. Composit K5 should be used with Solvent KT.

Reagents for two-component Karl Fischer titration

WaveTrace™ Titrant T5
WaveTrace™ Titrant T5 is the primary reagent for two-component KF titration. It’s formulated as s solution of iodine in methanol and requires a solvent with imidazole and sulfur dioxide to function properly. The titer is extremely stable and is typically between 4.8 and 5.3 mg/ml.

WaveTrace™ Titrant K5

WaveTrace™ Solvent C
WaveTrace™ Solvent C is a working medium for one- and two-component volumetric titration and is used when the analyte is poorly soluble in methanol and requires addition of chloroform.
Solvent C is best suited for analysis of fuels and various organic chemicals.

WaveTrace™ Solvent CX
WaveTrace™ Solvent CX is similar to Solvent C, but in addition to chloroform, it contains xylene. This is required for samples that need additional aromatic solvents to fully dissolve. Typical uses include analysis of fuels, crude oil, heavy hydrocarbons, etc.
